Me with my amazing producer for These Thems, Sophia Clark

WOW! What an honor to have the World Premiere of Episode 1 at Inside Out Festival in Toronto. Inside Out is Canada's largest LGBTQ+ festival and we had such an incredible experience showing our work there.

Thanks to all who came out for the screening -- more to come soon!

Now that I've officially settled into my new home as a West Coast Person, I'm excited to share everything I am up to this month.

I just started a new writers class: TV Writing for the Actor with Kim Kressal. Kim has been a long-time mentor of mine and I'm very excited about diving into the work with her.

I'll also be performing around town a lot throughout the month of April.

April 19 -- I'll be performing an original piece for Queer Cabaret in The Commons' inaugural season
April 20 -- Staged reading of Femmes: A Tragedy by Gina Young as part of her Sorority Series
April 21 -- Lesbian Story Slam night where I'll be performing an original piece written specifically for this event

After NINE beautiful, trying, and eventful years in NYC, I have relocated to the west coast! THESE THEMS is in the can and our director and editor are both LA based, so I figured now is as good a time as ever to try out a new city. Excited to be working on post-production in La La Land and I'm, uh, REALLY happy about the weather. Sorry, NYers. It's great here.

Well, this was fun. Delightful cabaret artist and pal, Amy Jo Jackson, invited me to sing a duet version of "All of Me" by John Legend with her. And I do believe this is also proof that angels can be altos. Just saying.

Oh geez. I am super excited for this.

I've been cast alongside freakin Tony winner Beth Leavel, Broadway funny lady Leslie Kritzer, Broadway's favorite character actor Josh Lamon, and a myriad of other incredibly talented folks in the upcoming industry reading of Bloody Bloody Jessica Fletcher, a musical parody of "Murder She Wrote."

To say I am excited is an understatement.

Not only that, but Tony-nominated director Dan Knechtges will be at the helm. Dan directed me in First Date in 2016 and I am jazzed to be working with him again!

And if things couldn't get better, my funniest friend Kevin Zak is one of the book writers for the project, along with other hilarious fellas!
